Tim McClung is a Healthcare Quality and Operations Professional with over 15 years of experience in advancing the development of collaborative approaches and programs to help complex health systems embed quality and safety in the culture of the organization, leading to better, data-driven decision-making, and better clinical and patient outcomes. Tim has served as the Quality and Patient Safety Director in major academic medical center and community teaching hospital settings in both New York and Connecticut. Currently specializing in Healthcare Informatics, Tim’s background includes Data Analytics, Patient Safety, Process Improvement, Regulatory Compliance and Prospective Risk Assessment. Nationally, Tim serves as a Commissioner for the National Association for Healthcare Quality  (NAHQ) with experience on both the Certification and Education Commissions.

A Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Tim holds a Master of Public Health degree from New York Medical College and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Western Connecticut State University with a clinical background in Respiratory Therapy.
