Kevin Sowti MD

Dr. Kevin Sowti finished his Residency at Yale affiliated program in Waterbury Connecticut. His education and life have taken him around the world, including Europe, Africa, Mexico, and South America.

Kevin has been practicing medicine at Chester County Hospital since December 2007. He helped develop and grow the Hospitalist program at Penn Medicine, CCH with some wonderful partners and is currently the co-chair of University of Pennsylvania Hospital Medicine Alliance.

While working full time as a hospitalist, he was nominated and finished the University of Pennsylvania Physician Leadership Academy training. He also has an MBA from Saint Joseph University and is currently doing a Masters in Health Care Innovation at University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Sowti currently serves as Medical Director of the Hospitalist Group through the University of Pennsylvania and also serves as the Section Chief of Internal Medicine at CCH along with being the Chief of Staff at Chester County hospital.

Kevin has also started a free medical symptom relief clinic at Abramson Cancer center in 2018 where he tries to reduce suffering for cancer patients while studying therapeutics effect on pain and other symptoms. He is also very active in quality control, serves as a large role as associate to CMIO. He also has worked in improving communication, reducing high utilizers and improving human experience in healthcare settings.

Kevin is married to a Neonatologist at Temple and has 3 children ages 7, 8, and 13 years old.
